The Yeezy inspired shirts have gotten super trendy and I've grown to love some looks more than others. Even though I admire this style I haven't exactly found the specific type that I just have to have or recreate. Instead, I created my own look on an old t-shirt and some old Forever 21 jeans.
When distressing your own clothing there should be a type of pattern or consistency, if not then it might end up looking too raggedy, but that all depends on your liking. In the photo to the left I did something different from most of my distressed jeans and did leg-wide holes on both legs rather than making frayed holes. On the right I kind of free styled in distressing the shirt, but one thing I wanted to add was a bunch of small holes around the shoulders to offset the other holes.
Some people spend 50 plus dollars on some distressed jeans, shirts and now even other garments, but what people don't realize is that they can recreate these same looks for free. Recreating the distressed look is quite simple, all you need is clothes (old, used or new), scissors and an open mind of creativity.
